FAQs

How would you describe your photography style?

My photography style draws inspiration from when I was obsessed with (and still am) street photography and photojournalism. Whilst I capture the big moments, I love going rogue and capturing the candid, fleeting moments that most people miss. Whether it’s the kids playing, Dad wiping a tear from his eye, Grandma laughing uncontrollably… These are the real photos that bring nostalgia and will retain the most value for years to come. I’m very easy-going and sociable, so whilst I’m always focussed on getting the best photos, I still love getting to know your guests, getting onto the dancefloor and really being involved as the day unfolds. Do you also do group photos and posed couple photos?

Whilst I like to focus on candid photography, I also understand the desire and expectation for group photos and couples’ photos. That being said, I don’t like to make this the main part of the day. I want my couples to enjoy their day – not stand still for ages in front of the camera! If the couple would like group photos, this is discussed and planned in advance. I usually recommend no more than 8 combinations – gathering and arranging people takes a lot longer than people realise!

As for couples’ photos, I like to take couples out either after the ceremony or during the reception for a short photo session if they would like one. This is a relaxed time for you to just chill and take in the day together, away from all the chaos and greeting all of your guests. Here, we’re able to get some intimate as well as fun photos that really capture all of the feels and your personality as a couple. Nothing too staged and nothing awkward.

What do your photography services include?

When booking your wedding with me, we will have regular meetings (either in person or online) so that we stay in touch and I’m always on hand to answer any questions you may have. You will also have the option to do an engagement shoot, if that’s something that you would like*. You will receive your own private online gallery to view all of your edited, high-resolution images, which you can go on to download, share and print.

Do you provide videography?

No I don’t. Whilst I dabble in video, I let the pro videographers do the videography so that I can fully concentrate on the photography.

You’re based in East Sussex, but can you travel further?

Yes*, I can travel! I always love the opportunity to photograph in new locations.

Do you only photograph weddings?

Short answer is no! Whilst weddings is the bulk of what I shoot, I do also cover other events such as birthday parties, Christenings, and other events. If you have any further questions about an event you have coming up, fill in my contact form and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

What equipment do you shoot with?

I bring two reliable, professional camera bodies and high-quality lenses (including backup equipment). I also come equipped with flash for when lighting is less than ideal, though I do prefer to work with natural light whenever I can.
