Street Photography

When I got my first ‘proper’ camera (wonderful 21st birthday gift from my partner Mary), I started learning how to use my camera by taking photos of everything I saw: landscapes, buildings, flowers, people, cars etc. But my favourite genre I came across (and immediately fell in love with) was street photography.

Capturing everyday life and moments out in the streets was incredibly interesting to me (most probably due to the similarities with my sociology degree). The most mundane things that we don’t even notice on a daily basis became fascinating when I had my camera in my hand. I still regularly shoot street photography when I get the chance, and I find that it continues to inspire my style of wedding photography.
